Picked this up at the weekend...

The Joy Division documentary by Grant Gee. Been wanting to see it
for ages, and it didn't disappoint.I also have the Radiohead one that
he did, Meeting People Is Easy, really like his style.

Limited Release

I decided to make a little movie from bits of video taken while in Oz.
It's not the best quality because it was taken on a digital camera.I
had to send it to my brother on CD, so I had a bit of fun with the many
stickers that are attached to suitcases in airports.

Finally...

I put some images on my flickr site. I'm not a photographer though, it's
just a collection of things I find interesting (bit like this) and they're
all taken with a pocket sized digital camera.

Pitt Street, Sydney

Looking Up...Victoria Station

Again with the stations!

Gregor's Room

I don't do enough illustration, so I've been trying to remedy that. I did
this shortly after reading 'Metamorphosis'by Franz Kafka. Hopefully I'll
get better!

Fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun

Yet more Oz pics. Of course the mango juice has to be fresh.
Slightly disturbing room key though.

This must be a problem

Screen Cinema, Dublin.

Looking up...Plunkett Station

Head in the clouds as usual.

Looking Up...Geoff's

I didn't take it though.

That girl

Finally took a picture of this. Not the best angle admittedly, but the bus
was late and it was something to do. Will try to get a better one before
it's taken down.

Really love this

Katie Kim, Waterford musician.

This made me smile

I didn't realise it was so hard to make out! The name is Brian Griffin.

DVD Boxsets

There is something nice about a complete DVD collection of a television
series. It's definitely an achievment, particularly if it's an American
series as they do have a tendency to go on a bit. In what I can only describe
as a moment of madness, I kidnapped my brother's whole collection of Seinfeld
and tried to smuggle it home in my suitcase. A stupid move really, they are
region 4 DVDs and useless here in region 2, so I reluctantly gave them back.

Cyclone Hamish

That was an experience, luckily we didn't get the full brunt of it.
Note the tape on the windows to stop them shattering.

Happy St.Patrick's Day

I know's it's a bit late, but I figure the 1st of April is as good a day as
any to post something that isn't really true! These were taken in Hyde
Park, Sydney. I want an Irish Wolfhound.

Rejects

These are some recent logos created in work that were rejected, but
even so I still quite like them.

This was an idea for Liam Doyle Associates. The three icons represent
the three main aspects of his company, food, technology and customer care.
Apple, screw and phone reciever.

This was an idea for Timewise fostering.I made a couple out
of the the 't' and 'i' and made the other 'i' a child waiting to be fostered.

Just liked the colours!

It was on the envelope that housed the latest edition of
ISTD Condensed.

Second-hand Books

They used to freak me out, but I quite like old books now, you kind
of wonder how they came to be in the second hand bookshop and what
kind of 'life' they've had... or maybe that's just me! I bought these
two in Skoobs Books in Bloomsbury,London. The George Orwell cover
was designed by Alan Fletcher.
